Roots in Real Estate
Real estate runs deep in my family. My grandmother and her husband owned a well-known brokerage in the charming mountain town of Wrightwood, California along with owning multiple income properties, vacation rentals, and a ski resort. For nearly 20 years, they owned and operated what was known as the Wrightwood Village Realty offices in both Wrightwood and nearby Phelan.
It was the kind of place where neighbors popped in just to say hello, grab a cup of coffee, and share updates about their families. It wasn’t just a business—it was a hub for the community. My mom eventually took a job there after my dad returned from the Navy, managing the office and helping keep things running smoothly. That office wasn’t just about contracts and closings—it was about connection, trust, and creating a place people could truly call home.
On my husband’s side, the real estate roots run just as deep. My mother-in-law built a successful real estate career while raising three boys (one of whom is now my husband). She managed to juggle it all—showings, contracts, and the chaos of family life—while also helping run the family veterinary practice. Over time, they expanded into flipping and remodeling vacation rentals in mountain towns, and that’s where Jessy and I first saw the creative, hands-on joy that real estate can bring. Watching them pour heart and hard work into transforming homes sparked something in us—and we knew we wanted to be a part of it too. Their encouragement is what led us to venture into out first duplex that started it all for us over 10 years ago.
Today, I’m proud to carry on both of these legacies with a modern twist. I’ve spent the last decade flipping homes, managing income properties, working in commercial real estate, and helping clients navigate the buying and selling process with clarity and confidence. My background in marketing has been a powerful tool, allowing me to position and present homes in a way that gets results—while still making sure my clients feel heard and supported every step of the way.
And while the technology, markets, and strategies may have evolved over the years, one thing hasn’t changed: the heart behind it all. Helping people find a place that truly feels like home is what drives me every single day. I wish my grandmother could see me now, walking a path she helped pave. I know she’s with me in spirit—beaming with pride at the journey I’m on and the lives I get to impact through this work.
